Trust me though, I would love for these things to also be in the full release but NTT is probably the best we'll get. The different versions of the game should not be too different from each other features wise. 60fps is extremely taxing is the game is not really made to run at 60fps. Stuff like widescreen don't fit the artistic vision of the original devs. Luckily some features such as the native mouse were added from NTT to the base game. No content will be added or features like widescreen and 60fps sadly. The person that made NTT is now responsible for some of the bugfix updates have come out and one that is in development right now. Vlambeer has moved on from Nuclear Throne. A mod based around community suggestions, for the most part. An expansion pack in which a bunch of freaks join you on your wasteland romp. Ducky Sekai NTT Wasteland Vagabonds Pack 1.05b2. You guys can keep using the free mods i dont care I too would want these features to be realized within the official game but it is not happening. The massive indie game cross-over Nuclear Throne mod. I just want it integrated into the official game on steam and I'll pay the money for them to do it. But I definitely feel that the 30 FPS thing makes the game less fun by causing less responsive controls and making precision and quick reactions artificially difficult.NTT and NT are both hosted on the internet? What a terrible reason to miss out on a mod that is installed in 3 steps and makes the game better on most ends. in chat type /sideload to enable the use of commands then copy and paste this into the chat. I dunno, it's kinda hard to quantify precisely how the low frame rate affects game play, because we're still dealing with small increments of time. Combine with display scaling, and the game looks smoother than ever. For a long time, chat in NTT was pretty basic - you could enter text and erase entered text. While this isnt perfect (differences in how projectiles bounce are the most apparent), its still a very good option if you were irked by 30fps lock in past. As it was recited a few times, implementing 60fps on the Nuclear Throne's original source. The fact that the practically all the enemy behavior is RNG based so you can't predict what enemies will do between frames only makes it worse. v9940 - 60fps, chat revamp, mod stuff 60fps (or any FPS, really). It's that Nuclear Throne is a very fast paced game, so important things can happen in between frames, and the low frame rate can make reacting to them artificially more difficult. What I'm saying is it doesn't bother me at all really, but a shader effect that can be toggled on or off might be all we need to keep everyone happy. It kind of bugs me when I play NT after playing something else that has a higher framerate, but I adjust really fast and it stops being an issue. A motion blur filter to sort of 'tween' the inbetween frames and give an illusion of a smoother / higher framerate. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.
